Our hospital was founded in 1988. It is a non-profit institution directly under the Sichuan Provincial Health Commission and the Women and Children’s Hospital affiliated to Chengdu Medical College. It is a Class-A tertiary maternal and child health institution integrating medical treatment, health care, public health, teaching, and scientific research. The Sichuan Provincial Institute of Maternal and Child Health and Family Planning, Sichuan Provincial Prenatal Diagnosis Center, Sichuan Provincial Newborn Disease Screening Center, Sichuan Provincial Maternal and Child Safety Guidance Center, Sichuan Provincial Birth Defect Prevention and Control Management Center, Sichuan Provincial Cervical Cancer and Breast Cancer Screening Management Center and other institutions are all located in our hospital. The hospital currently has 1,368 employees, including 257 with associate senior or higher technical titles and 340 with postgraduate degrees. Our hospital has three campuses, Jinyang, Tianfu and Fuqin, with a total construction area of 133,000 square meters for business premises. With the care and support of the provincial party committee, provincial government, provincial health commission and other relevant departments, our hospital is building the Tianfu Campus of Sichuan Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Chengdu Tianfu International Biocity. The project is located at No. 1515, Qihuang 2nd Road, Yong’an Town, Shuangliu District, Chengdu. The planned land area is about 104 mu, with 800 planned beds and a total construction area of about 150,000 square meters.
