Founded in 2006, the association serves as the national body for all Medical Laboratory professionals in Sierra Leone. They are committed to upholding the highest standards of practice and ethics in laboratory medicine, while actively seeking the welfare of their members. Their mission includes promoting the values of the profession to other healthcare workers and the public, uniting our members to speak with one voice, and advocating for professional independence. They also prioritize quality standards, patient and workplace safety, and continuous professional development.
